Into the Fold: Sheepdog

You play a border collie. Take the flock out to pasture, let the sheep eat their fill and get them back into the pen before the sun goes down.

Sheep don't take orders. They move away from the dog, bunch up when something scares them and stop wherever the grass looks good. When a wolf comes out of the trees, they scatter. You steer the dog with one finger and tap to bark, so most of the game is about where you stand and when you run.

What's in the game:

• 100 levels in 10 chapters. The first ones are quiet meadows, then come rivers with fords and orchards behind stone walls. Wolves live in the forest in chapter 4, and in chapter 6 the flock goes up into the mountains.
• Lambs fall behind if you hurry them. From chapter 3 the flock follows a ginger ewe with a bell.
• Wolves hunt in pairs and go for sheep at the edge of the flock. If one grabs a sheep, chase it and it lets go.
• A bear won't leave until you bark at it a few times. Mountain goats charge along the paths on the plateau and knock sheep toward the cliff edge.
• On the farm you herd cows along with the sheep and sort them into two pens. The llama looks after the flock and spits at wolves.
• In fog and at night, keep the flock near the lanterns.
• The last chapter is a drive home that takes several days, with a new pen every night.
• Up to three stars per level: one for finishing, one if no sheep is lost and one if every sheep is well fed.
• Stars and achievements unlock hats, scarves and bandanas for your dog.
• 50 Game Center achievements.
• No ads. The game works offline.

Chapter 1 is free. One in-app purchase unlocks chapters 2 to 10 for good, and you can share it with your family through Family Sharing.
